To do a portrait, to bring out the comical or even human characteristics as we often see them is true enjoyment." Art has been selected as Ducks Unlimited International Artist of the Year as well as Artist of the Year for Northern Wildlife Expo, Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Florida Wildlife Exposition, and Northeastern Wildlife Exposition. He has been commissioned by the South Carolina Waterfowl Association for Duck Stamp Prints five consecutive years and has been Poster Artist of the Year for the Easton Waterfowl Festival and Texas Wildlife Exposition.
