Lyle Peterzell was born and raised in the Moss Point / Pascagoula area, and has been a professional photographer for over 25 years. After graduating high school, he spent the next 16 years in Los Angeles where he worked in advertising and journalism. From there it was 2 years in Nashville, and then 8 years in Washington D.C., the last 6 of those at the National Gallery of Art. He has now relocated back to his roots, and in addition to producing his own fine art, plans to offer his services to anyone in need of quality photography of their own art. Lyle plans to focus, no pun intended, on capturing natural beauty that surrounds us all here in South Mississippi. Having a deep affection for the area makes it a real pleasure for him to share his view. Working at a museum for several years has refined the necessary skills required to create lasting photographic works of art. Lyle believes "Mother Nature" is really the artist, and that he is very fortunate to be able to capture little glimpses of our part of the South.
